BiG idea day Luncheon
The 12th annual BiG|idea day is an important fundraiser that allows BiGAUSTIN to continue to provide business training, technical assistance, and lending to low-income, minority and women owned small business whose resources are often limited. BiG|idea day recognizes Central Texas’ small businesses for their achievements and contributions to the local economy. The event will feature finalists from the Business Plan Competition for existing businesses with a $10,000 award and a Business Concept competition for Youth (grades 9-12) with a $1000 award. Attendees of the luncheon will have the opportunity to view presentations of finalists and select a winner LIVE at the event!

Linda Denny, Vice President of Marketing for the National Women’s History Museum (Alexandria, Virginia) and former President of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Ms. Denny is a member of the Women’s Leadership Board, sponsored by the Kennedy School of Harvard University, a member of the Advisory Board of the IBM-World Bank, and is a founding member of the board for the Association of Women’s Business Development Centers.
